Had the best night's sleep in ages thanks to the quiet surroundings—I felt like a city mouse in the countryside! Room was spotless and comfy, with a cool shower that gave me a surprise ice-cold wake-up call. Wish I had more time to soak in the views of horses and hills, and maybe figure out that shower before being ambushed by the chill again. Definitely, #ShowerStrugglesAreReal. Can't wait to come back for round two!

The air-conditioned rooms at Okauia House were just what I needed after a long day of biking. They had all the amenities I could ask for, like a wardrobe, fridge, microwave, and more. The flat-screen TV and balcony were lovely touches, and the private bathroom with a shower was very convenient. Plus, the bed linen and towels provided were a nice touch.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the soundproofing in the twin/double room. It made the space feel a bit claustrophobic to me.

The accommodation had a garden - lovely for pretending I'm a green-thumb. I enjoyed the free private parking, great for my non-existent sports car. the hot tub was a cherry on top; I felt like a fancy soup being warmed up.
Shame, I didn't get to float away in the hot tub forever.
